AM22/001 - WELCOME

J Weighell welcomed Councillors to the meeting and apologies for absence were accepted from B Crossen (Holiday), P Dunn (Holiday), L Tostevin (Borough Council meeting).

AM22/002 - MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING

Confirmation that the Minutes of the last Annual Meeting held 4th May 2021 were agreed as a correct record at the subsequent meeting held 7th June 2021.
 

AM22/003 - CHAIR’S REPORT

Councillor J Weighell (Chair) presented his annual report for the year 2021/22 and on conclusion informed the meeting that he would not be standing for re-election. He then thanked all those who had supported him over the thirty years as chair. The meeting expressed their immense  appreciation of John’s long term service to the parish and what he had achieved over the years..

AM22/004 – QUESTIONS FROM THE FLOOR

There were no questions from the floor.

AM22/05 – ELECTION OF CHAIR

K Sandick was proposed by J Weighell, seconded by J Grainger and elected as Chair for 2022/23.

AM22/06 – ELECTION OF VICE CHAIR

G Crute was proposed by J Weighell, seconded by E Miller and elected as Vice Chair for 2022/23.

AM22/07 – ELECTION OF OVERSEERS TO SUPPORT THE CHAIR FOR 2022/23

1. The proposed nominee as Asset Management Overseer was not present at the meeting (apologies had been accepted) and it was agreed to defer this nomination until the June meeting.
2. J Grainger was unopposed for election as Business Management Overseer and elected.
3. G Crute was unopposed for election as Risk Management Overseer and elected. G Crute stated that he would not wish to stand for a further year and M Hannaford agreed to shadow him over the forthcoming year with a view to a smooth hand over of the role.

AM22/08 – DATE OF NEXT MEETING

The date of the next Annual Meeting was provisionally set at Tuesday 2 May 2023

The meeting concluded at 6.40pm.
